BICSI was founded in 1974 to serve
telephone company building industry
consultants (BICs), responsible for the
design and distribution of
telecommunications wiring for commercial
and multi-family buildings. As the
industry changed and converged, so did
BICSI. It's traditional voice, data and
video cabling base has expanded to
include all aspects of communications,
life safety and automation (CLA)
technologies.
